Becoming a Provider

Becoming a Host Home Provider or Family Caregiver with Karuna Care Services is more than a job, it's an opportunity to create a meaningful, lasting impact on someone's life while building a life-enriching experience in your own home.

As a provider, you open your home to an adult with developmental disabilities and offer the kind of support that goes far beyond basic care. You help create a safe, stable, and welcoming environment where someone can truly feel at home. This includes preparing meals, providing transportation to appointments and community activities, supporting daily living and personal care needs, assisting with medication management, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to implement behavioral supports. Just as importantly, you offer something that can't be written into a care plan: genuine companionship, connection, and opportunities for meaningful participation in the community.

At Karuna Care Services, we believe our providers are among our most valuable assets. You are the heart of what we do. The relationships you build, the consistency you provide, and the care you deliver are what set Karuna apart. That's why we are deeply committed to supporting you, not just as a contractor, but as a respected partner.

Caregiver Support

We understand that being a primary caregiver comes with both rewards and challenges. Karuna prioritizes flexibility, allowing you to balance your work with your personal life. We actively support providers in taking time away from care when needed by offering both in-home and out-of-home respite options. We have a robust pool of respite providers to offer support when time away is needed. Our goal is to ensure you feel supported, valued, and equipped so you can continue providing the highest quality care without burnout.

When you partner with Karuna Care Services, you're not doing this alone. You're joining a team that respects your role, responds when you need support, and stands beside you every step of the way so you can focus on what matters most: creating a meaningful, fulfilling life for the person in your care.
